The high school mission trip to Biloxi, Mississippi is coming up soon. To find out more about this trip, read about it on the Happenings page. The middle school mission trip has been cancelled, but the middle school youth will be joining the high school youth on the Biloxi trip. To sign up, just fill out the permissions slip that's posted on the website. You will also need to complete the Conduct Covenant & Release Form and Authorization for Medical Treatment Form, also posted on the website. You can give the forms to Pastor Terry at the Youth Service or bring them to the church office.

If you want to attend the senior high mission trip but have a conflict due to the June 13th SAT, contact Pastor Terry. He's making arrangements for a group to leave after the SAT is done.

Melea Goins, our Director of Children's Ministries, is in need of helpers for the childrens' Sunday school classes. The Sunday School teachers are often overwhelmed with children and could use your help. If you are able to hang out after Fusion Worship, just go downstairs to help out by sharing you love and faith with the children. You can sign up at the Shack, or text or email Pastor Terry.

There is something very new going on in the youth ministry at First Church. It is a new name. The Leadership Team through my (Pastor Terry's) encouragement has come up with a name for the youth ministry. We will now be called FUSION YOUTH MINISTRIES. Fusion is a nuclear reaction in which nuclei combine to form more massive nuclei with the simultaneous release of energy. The idea being that when we (multiple different nuclei) join together as one with Christ (the ultimate nuclei), we create a great deal of energy!

We hope this will help us begin to move in a new direction based on everybody working together through Christ to create the energy of His love to others. We know it will take some time to get used to the new way we refer to the youth ministry, but we hope you will help us make the move by referring to the youth ministry as FUSION YOUTH MINISTRIES.
